About Michael J.

Actor. Businessman. Award-winning pro football player. Comeback kid who's survived the highs and lows that life has to offer – and life has offered him higher highs and lower lows than most.

Michael J. brings to the stage a wealth of knowledge culled from a surprising variety of experiences. He's been on both sides of the American dream. He's been at the top and the bottom of the corporate ladder. He's been the darling of a university, a major metropolis, and football fans across the nation. He's also found himself down and out, and his many achievements have not come without personal struggle.

Due in large part to his broad diversity of personal experience, Michael has a chameleon-like capacity to tailor a presentation to top-level executives, middle managers, or the everyday workers who keep a company moving forward.

Addressing large audiences is second nature to Michael, who enjoyed acting and debate in middle school and high school. He also spent time preaching before local congregations. He found that he excelled at public speaking well before football came to dominate his early adult life, and upon retiring from sports one of his ventures was into a professional acting career.

The picture of success himself, Michael is driven by a life-long passion to help others succeed. He takes pride in his unique ability to read and relate to his audience members on their terms. He thrives on his talent for tapping into the internal drives of those he's come to address. He enjoys nothing more than to complete a presentation and see change on the faces in his audience.

Michael J. Trivia

Michael continues to wow football fans who enjoyed his spectacular performance at the University of Washington, where he set records for tackles in a game (29), season (219), and career (587) – all of which still stand.

Michael helped lead the UW Huskies to the Rose Bowl in 1978. At the apex of that teeth-clenching bowl game, with two minutes left, he made a game-winning interception on the three-yard line to defeat the Michigan Wolverines.

During his eight years of professional play with the Seattle Seahawks, Michael earned 21 game balls for outstanding play, and was named team MVP in 1981.
